BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Houghton women's basketball fell to The College at Brockport, 57-65, in the championship game of the Brockport Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday night.

The Golden Eagles were quick to take to the court, scoring 20 points in the first quarter. The Highlanders would rally, making a strong effort in the second quarter and would edge out Brockport by the end of the first half, 27-26.

However, Brockport would regain steam and outperform Houghton in the second half of the game, leading to the Highlander's first loss of the season.

> Leslie Moose led the Highlanders notching 14 points, while Brittany Lenart (11 points) and Madison Detwiler (10 points) also reached double figures.

> Madision Detwiler earned all-tournament honors after averaging 10 points and 6.5 rebounds over the two games.
