Caitlin Jennings connected on the only goal of the game, lifting the Houghton Highlanders past the Elmira Golden Eagles on Wednesday afternoon, 1-0.
The Highlanders turned in a dominant performance in their final Empire 8 matchup of the season, but failed to find the back of the cage until the 28

Nicole Jennings on the right side of the net and the elder sister cracked home the eventual game-winner.
The Houghton defense remained strong throughout, allowing only four shots, as goalkeeper
Sarah Olandt made three saves for the team's second shutout of the season.
