ONEONTA, NY – The Houghton Highlanders dropped to 4-10 on the year with a loss this afternoon to the SUNY Oneonta Red Dragons, 4-1, at Red Dragon Field.
 
Oneonta jumped out to an early lead in the third minute of the game, and compiled a three-goal lead by the end of the first half.
 
Just over six minutes into the second period, 
Nicole Jennings slammed home a rebound to put Houghton on the board, cutting the deficit to 3-1, but the Red Dragons regained their three-goal lead with less than five minutes remaining to finish the scoring.
