Women’s Soccer Falls to Hartwick on the Road

ONEONTA, N.Y. — Houghton women's soccer is running out of opportunities to secure a spot in the Empire 8 Conference playoffs. The Highlanders remained winless in conference play after a 2-0 defeat at Hartwick on Saturday.

Houghton has three E8 contests remaining and still has an outside shot to earn a berth, but they'll most likely need to win out and get some key losses from other teams higher in the standings.

Against the Hawks, Houghton surrendered goals in the 13th and 84th minutes.
