Jennings Leads Offensive Explosion in Win Over Wells

AURORA, NY – Caitlin Jennings scored four goals and assisted on another as the Houghton Highlanders snapped a four-game losing skip with an offensive flurry, defeating the Wells Express, 7-1.

Jennings scored the first three goals of the game, all within the first 16 minutes, before Wells got on the board.  But before the half would end, Jennings would pepper the back of the cage again, give Houghton a 4-1 lead at the intermission.

In the second half the Highlanders continued to surge, as Jennings found Ashley Hughes just over five minutes after the whistle.

Tanya Hatton would later add her fifth goal of the season and Sierra Kennedy her second.
