Houghton fell to Stevens 19-4 Saturday afternoon at Burke Field.  The Ducks out shot the Highlanders 34-10 in the contest.

The Ducks got out to an early 4-0 lead, then Jenny Zacchigna struck for Houghton off of a Chandler Jones assist.

The Highlanders struggled to find the net for the rest of the first half, trailing 13-1 at the break.  

Houghton would find the net three more times for the game on 2 goals from Meghan Oswald and another from Jenny Zacchigna.  

Stevens had four different players score 3 goals each on the day.   The Ducks also won 17 of 23 draw controls. 

Chandler Jones recorded 2 assists and Marrisa Hews scooped up 3 ground balls for Houghton in the game.

The Highlanders head on the road to Keuka College on Tuesday, April 4th for their next contest.
