HOUGHTON, NY—The Grove City Wolverines capitalized on an 18-4 run early in the fourth quarter to defeat the Houghton Highlanders, 64-58.
 
Moments into the final quarter Houghton's Cori Beck nailed a three-pointer to give the Highlanders a seven point advantage, but the Wolverines scored more points over the following eight minutes than they had in any two quarters combined to that point.
 
A layup by Madison Detwiler with 2:47 remaining pulled the Highlanders within three, but the Wolverines quickly responded, then hit 8-of-10 free throws down the stretch to secure the victory.

>> Grove City's Lexi Arkwright led all scorers with 30 points, including 4-of-7 from long range.  Teammate Laura Buchanan collected 18 points, 11 boards and four blocked shots.  The pair combined to score 23 of the team's 26 points in the fourth quarter.
