ROCHESTER, NY – The Houghton Highlanders turned in a dominant performance on Friday night, defeating the Nazareth Golden Flyers, 4-0.
Sierra Kennedy and
Sydney Jameson each scored two goals apiece. Kennedy opened the scoring with approximately eight minutes to play in the first half, and Jameson followed less than five minutes later.
The duo repeated the performance in the second half.
With the win, the Highlanders move into a tie for fourth place in the Empire 8 standings. They play their final conference game of the season against Elmira College next Saturday, who is currently tied with Nazareth for seventh place.
