HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The Houghton Highlanders once again topped the .500 mark with a three-game sweep of D'Youville College on Friday night at the Nielsen Center.

Key Moments
>> Houghton opened up a big lead early in the first set and never looked back.  Three straight kills by Naomi Prentice within the first five points, helped set an offensive tone for the match as the Highlanders developed momentum en route to a 25-13 win.
 
>> After rolling through the second set fairly unscathed, Houghton fell behind in the third and trailed by as many as four points (13-9) before an Ally Bittinger kill led to four straight Highlander points to tie the score.  Houghton took the lead for good moments later on a scorching kill by Erica Barney, eventually taking the final set, 25-21.
 
Key Stats
>> The Highlanders displayed a potent attack, converting on nearly 26 percent of their attacks.  The Spartans converted on just over eight percent.
 
>> Prentice once again led the Houghton offense, nailing 12 kills while committing only one attack error.
 
>> Barney and Bittinger each posted seven kills and collected 10 and nine digs apiece, respectively.
