GENESEO, N.Y. – The Highlanders struggled to find an offensive rhythm all night and committed several costly errors on their side, falling to the SUNY Geneseo Knights on Tuesday in straight sets.

Key Moments
>> After an Erica Barney kill pulled the Highlanders to within one (11-12) in the first set, the Knights exploded for a 13-2 run.
 
>> In the second set, the Highlanders found themselves at a 13-19 disadvantage before reeling off six of the next seven points to draw within one.  
 
Houghton traded the next several points with the Knights before two consecutive Geneseo attack errors knotted the game at 23-23, forcing a timeout.  The Knights, however, would finish the set on a kill and an ace, ending the Houghton threat.

>> The Knights outpaced the Highlanders in the attack, posting 41 kills (14.4% attack percentage) to Houghton's 16 (3.1%).
>> Naomi Prentice posted seven kills and three blocks for the Highlanders, while Rebekah White added 20 digs.
>> Grace Cergol tallied 15 kills for the Knights, while Emily Ast dished out 31 assists.
