HOBOKEN, N.J. -- Stevens Tech scored eight goals in each half as they pulled off a 16-4 win over Houghton women's lacrosse Saturday.
The Ducks scored the first five goals of the contest before Jennifer Zacchigna scored for the Highlanders with 8:30 left in the half.
The hosts finished the half with three-straight goals.
After two more Ducks goals to start the second half, Meghan Oswald scored for Houghton to make the score 10-2. Stevens scored three more times over a three minute span to push the lead to 13-2 at the midway point of the half.
Zacchigna would score two more times before the contest was over.
The Ducks outshot the Highlanders 41-10 and had a 31-8 advantage in ground balls.
Oswald led the Highlanders with four draw controls. Kourtnie Franklin made nine saves in 55:45. Alison Clark allowed one goal in 4:15 of action.
The Highlanders (2-7; 0-2 E8) returns home to host Hilbert on Thursday, April 7.
