CLARKS SUMMIT, PA – A huge second quarter propelled the Houghton Highlanders past the Clarks Summit Defenders on Friday night, 64-40.
After a fairly even first quarter Houghton outscored the host Defenders, 22-6, thanks to 14 first-half points from leading scorer,
Elle Reed.
With two games in less than 24 hours, Houghton used the bench early and often. Eleven Highlanders saw at least 10 minutes of action, and only one played more than 20 minutes. Ten Houghton players made into the scoring column.
