ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Hartwick College jumped out to a 12-0 halftime lead and earned a 20-3 win over Houghton in men's E8 lacrosse action on Wednesday.

Justin Flint scored twice to lead the Highlanders, while Paul Chapman contributed one goal.

The Hawks dominated in the faceoff circle, winning 24-of-27 opportunities. Shots went in favor of the Hawks, 56-21, as did groundballs, 54-16.

Josh Haingray played 30 minutes, making nine saves and allowing 12 goals. Jordan Warren allowed eight goals and made six stops in 30 minutes.

Houghton (1-10; 0-6 E8) is back in action on Saturday, April 18 when they host Alfred State.
