HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Paul Chapman scored twice to lead the Highlanders in a 24-3 loss to Stevens on Burke Field on Saturday.
Stevens jumped out to a 9-2 lead at the end of the first and led 15-3 at the half.Â
Justin Flint scored the other Highlander goal.
Shots went in favor of the Ducks, 62-14, on the afternoon. The visitors also had a dominating 28-3 advantage in the faceoff circle and picked up 44 ground balls to just 11 for the Highlanders.
Josh Haingray played 45 minutes and made 15 saves in net. Zachary Jackson allowed two goals and made no saves in 15 minutes of action.
The Highlanders (1-9; 0-5 E8) are back in action on Wednesday, April 15 when they travel to take on Hartwick.
