Pioneers Roll Past Highlanders 8-0

HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Utica College showed why it's one of the top teams in the Empire 8, battling past the Highlanders 8-0 in field hockey action Saturday at Burke Field.

The Pioneers scored four goals in each half. They finished the game with a 19-2 advantage in shots.

Houghton keeper Elizabeth Piszker (Glens Mills, PA, Cardinal O'Hara) made five stops in net.

The Highlanders are back in action Saturday, Oct. 4 at St. John Fisher.
