Carlee Miller

Following a stellar career as a two-sport collegiate athlete, Carlee Miller joined the Houghton women’s basketball program as an assistant coach in fall of 2024.

A native of nearby Fillmore, New York, Miller graduated from Houghton University in May 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Inclusive Childhood Education and a concentration in Studio Art.  She also played four years of both basketball and softball.

On the hardwood, Miller played in 84 career games, starting 68, averaging 7.6 ppg and 4.8 rpg, while guiding her teams to back-to-back conference tournament appearances.  Miller also served as one of the women's basketball team's so-SAAC representatives, and during her senior season acted as one of the team's two co-captains.

As a softball player, Miller started all four seasons in the middle infield, primarily playing shortstop in her final two seasons.  She finished her career with a .282 AVG, collecting 102 hits, 78 RBI, and seven home runs.  In her senior season, Miller slashed career-bests .349/.426/.528, leading her team in nearly every offensive category, earning All-Empire 8 Third-Team honors.

Coach Miller currently resides in Fillmore, where she enjoys spending time with a her family, including her four sisters.
