Jason Rollins serves as a mental performance consultant for Houghton Athletics, bringing more than 20 years of experience as an educator, coach, and athletic leader. He is the founder of Healthy Teams Win and a certified Mental Performance Mastery Coach, specializing in helping athletes develop the mental skills needed to perform at their highest level.

At Houghton, Rollins works directly with teams, coaches, and individual student-athletes through group sessions and one-on-one mentoring. His program focuses on training athletes in preparation, performance, and reflection—equipping them with tools to build focus, resilience, and consistency under pressure. He emphasizes that mental toughness is a trainable skill, helping athletes grow in confidence, discipline, and competitive mindset.

Grounded in a faith-based perspective, Rollins integrates personal development with performance training, encouraging student-athletes to anchor their identity beyond results while pursuing excellence in competition. His work supports Houghton Athletics’ mission of developing the whole person—mentally, physically, and spiritually.

A former collegiate soccer player, Rollins earned his bachelor’s degree in Religion from Alliance University and a master’s degree in Education (Curriculum and Instruction in Physical Education) from Northern Illinois University. His academic background, combined with decades of coaching and teaching, informs his holistic and practical approach to performance training.

Rollins is safesport certified and has a Certified Athletic Administrator license with the NIAAA.
