ONEONTA, N.Y. — The Houghton Highlanders women's tennis team dropped a 7–0 Empire 8 decision to Hartwick College on Saturday afternoon at the Wilber Park Tennis Courts.
Hartwick swept through doubles play to claim the opening point. At No. 1 doubles,
Sage Brinckerhoff and Zoe Zachary fell 6–2 to Hartwick's Samantha Lantzy and Gianna Leggieri. The Hawks also claimed No. 2 doubles as
Prashansa Chakrapani and
Victoria Martinez were defeated 6–2 by Autumn Millington and Elise Beauharnois. Hartwick picked up the third doubles point by default.
The Hawks maintained momentum into singles play across all flights:

- No. 2 Singles: Samantha Lantzy def. Victoria Martinez 6–3, 6–0
