HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Houghton women's soccer brought the offensive firepower for the second-straight day, downing Lancaster Bible College by a 4-0 score in front of the Highlanders faithful Saturday on Burke Field.
Houghton scored twice in each half, with
Taylor Curyto and
Hope Russell scoring six minutes apart late in the first half and
Elena Esh netting two markers midway through the second.
LBC didn't make it easy for the Highlander defenders, registering 12 shots (8 on goal), but Houghton keeper
Preslee Miller was tough between the pipes, stopping each shot she faced.
