ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth men's tennis took down Houghton 7-2 in Empire 8 action on Friday afternoon.
The Highlanders got wins from
Graham Cook and
Benjamin Unger in third and fifth singles, respectively. Cook won 6-0, 6-2, while Unger took his opponent to three sets before winning 6-4, 4-6, 10-4.
"I'm really proud of Graham and Ben today. Graham played probably the best I have ever seen out of him and picked up a dominant win. Ben won a gutsy tiebreaker to clinch his match. We have to have a short term memory as we get ready for Senior Day tomorrow against Oswego. Let's go Highlanders!"
Houghton wraps up its regular season on Saturday when they host Oswego for a 1 p.m. E8 match.
