"It's a big deal to get like meets like these, get in a pack of elite runners, and test yourself. This meet, for a number of years now, has provided us with the opportunity to attempt program records, regional standards, big personal bests, etc. This year was no different. I'm proud of the crew for continuing to pave the way for their current and future teammates to see what is possible. Many of these athletes here, as freshmen and sophomores, watched their older teammates come to Bucknell and do the same. Carrying this torch is a privilege and an expectation. We took a nice step forward, today," explained Coach Hager after the meet.
The Highlanders will be in action on Friday, 4/18 at Alfred State University.
