HOUGHTON, NY – For the second night in a row, the Houghton Highlanders came out of the gates on absolute fire, as they defeated the Redeemer University College Royals (Canada), 105-58, in an exhibition match.
 
The Highlanders lit up the scoreboard in the opening quarter, scoring 35 points, while shooting 67 percent (14-for-21) from the floor, and 50 percent (5-for-10) from beyond the arc.
 
Houghton never slowed up from there, topping the 100-point mark for the second night in a row, while shooting 46 percent from the floor and 41 percent from long distance.  The Highlanders defense swarmed, forcing 32 turnovers, while giving the ball away only 12 times.
