HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton men's soccer had its two-game win streak snapped by visiting Brockport, 2-0, on Wednesday at Burke Field.
The Eagles came out firing in the first half, scoring the game's first goal in the 22nd minute and finishing the half with an 11-1 advantage in shots.
Houghton conceded the second goal in the 73rd minute, while the Eagles turned away all of the Highlander attacks.
Brockport finished with a 15-2 margin in shots (6-1 in shots on goal) and dominated corner kicks, 7-0.

Samuel Edwards had Houghton's only shots, while goalkeeper
Joshua Smith made four saves in net.
This was Houghton's fifth-straight loss to the Eagles and fourth-straight by shutout.
Houghton is back in action on the road on Saturday, October 4 at noon when they travel to take on Nazareth in an E8 tilt.
