GRANTHAM, PA— The Messiah Falcons dominated both ends of a doubleheader on Friday afternoon, defeating the visiting Houghton Highlanders, 16-1 and 11-1.
In the opener, the Falcons scored 10 runs on five hits and two costly Houghton errors in the third inning.
Messiah would rap out 10 hits, while Nick Stein picked up his third win of the year, allowing only one hit and three walks over five innings, while striking out eight batters.
In the second game, the Falcons put up 10 runs in the first three frames, hitting three home runs and two doubles on the day.
