HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Nazareth men's soccer scored the game-winner in the final two minutes to escape with a 2-1 victory and keep Houghton winless in conference play on Homecoming Saturday at Burke Field.

>> The game was evenly played throughout. Nazareth got on the board in the 5th minute on a 20-yard blast that caught the underside of the cross bar and bounced into the net.
>> Despite the early deficit, Houghton played tough in the first half and actually created more dangerous chances than the visitors. Total shots were even at three apiece after 45 minutes.
>> Nazareth upped the pressure in the second half, but it was a Highlanders who found the back of the net, thanks to an Nathi Volmink penalty kick conversion.
