The Houghton Men's Tennis team advanced to the Empire 8 finals Friday afternoon after the Utica Pioneers forfeited the match. The Highlander's will have a rematch against rival Nazareth in the Finals for the third straight year! Nazareth was able to overcome St. John Fisher in the other semi-final with a final score of 5-1. 

"We are SO excited to get Nazareth in the final again and to hopefully get some revenge for our defeat last season," Coach Zach Shilvock explained after advancing. "We have to go out and earn this victory tomorrow. This is what sports are all about, and I know our team is eager for this challenge!"

The final will be played at the Houghton outdoor courts at 1pm.
