Highlanders Pick up Hard-Fought Road Win at Fredonia

FREDONIA, NY— The Houghton Highlanders set the tone early, outscoring the SUNY Fredonia Blue Devils, 15-7, in the opening quarter, in route to their 10th straight victory this season, 60-42. 
 
The Highlanders committed a season-low seven turnovers, while forcing 20 from their opponent.
 
After taking a nine-point lead into the half, Houghton opened the third quarter with a 6-2 run then closed it in the final three minutes with a 6-0 run, taking a 19-point lead into the final 10 minutes.
