HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton men's soccer had to settle for a 1-1 tie in a key E8 matchup with Utica on Saturday at Burke Field.

Houghton scored first on Ethan Zirilli's first career tally, before the Pioneers converted a PK less than a minute into the second half.

>> Ethan Zirilli opened the scoring for the Highlanders, redirecting a perfectly placed cross from Andy Loomis into the back of the net from one yard out. It was Zirilli's first career goal.
>>The Pioneers earned a corner just seconds into the second half, and a push in the back right in front of the goal earned the visitors a PK, which Cody Baker-Green calmly sent past the Houghton keeper to even the score at one.
