WILLIAMSPORT, PA –The Houghton Highlanders turned in a dominant performance on Tuesday evening, picking up their second win of the season, 3-1, over the host Lycoming Warriors.
Houghton outshot the Warriors 24-to-1, and posted an 18-to-1 advantage in penalty corners.
Jace Hunzinger opened the scoring with her second goal of the season off a pass from
Peyton Bentley just under 11 minutes into the game.
Bentley then scored the eventual game-winner, her first goal of the season, just over two minutes into the second quarter.
The Warriors pulled within a goal five minutes later, but Houghton eventually added an insurance goal off the stick of Cicily Haslem in the 48
th minute.
