ROCHESTER, NY –After allowing no more than two goals in each of their last six games, the Houghton Highlanders surrendered two goals in each half to the RIT Tigers, falling in a non-league tilt on Tuesday evening, 4-0.
The Tigers scored the opening goal in the 20
th minute of play, then added a second on a penalty kick just over two minutes later.
For insurance, RIT tacked on a third goal just over two minutes into the second half, and capped their scoring efforts in the 60
th minute with a goal by Carlos Cardona.
