Offense Fires on All Cylinders as Highlanders Defeat Wells

HOUGHTON, NY – Peyton Bentley and Bekah Davie both scored a pair of goals to pace a high-octane offensive effort, as the Houghton Highlanders climbed back above .500 with a 8-0 victory over the visiting Wells Express.

Bentley scored her second goal of the season, and what would prove to be the game-winner, just over four minutes into the game off a pass from Cedar Smith.  Bentley would claim her second goal minutes into the second quarter, while Smith would collect two more assists on the day.

Davie would score back-to-back goals for the Highlanders in the 23rd and 32nd minutes of play.  Four other players—Ashlee Beck (first career goal), Deborah Cross, Jace Hunzinger and Ciciley Haslem—would round out the Houghton scoring attack.
