HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Twenty-seven Houghton University fall student-athletes have earned All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition by the National Christian College Athletic Association for their work in the classroom.

To be named an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete, these Highlanders maintained at minimum a cumulative GPA of 3.40 and are at least juniors in academic standing.

"This is a great representation of our student-athletes in recognition of the kind of students we have in our program," said Director of Athletics Matthew Webb. "Our coaches and students continue to emphasize the importance of academic performance in our programs. We are proud of each of these young men and women for how they so ably manage their time as student-athletes."
