Highlanders Keep Rolling with Win Over Wells

HOUGHTON, NY – The Houghton Highlanders turned in a dominant performance on Friday evening, showing off a deep bench while defeating the Wells Express, 94-25.
 
Houghton remains unbeaten on the season, moving to 4-0, while Wells is yet to find a win at 0-4.
 
The Highlanders started the game with a bang, putting 24 points on the board in the first 10 minutes, while holding the visiting Express scoreless.
 
Houghton would score at least 22 points in each quarter, and improved their shooting percentages from the floor in every period (26%/34%/41%/53%).

UP NEXT
The Highlanders return to the Nielsen Center next Tuesday, November 22 when they host a non-conference matchup with cross-county rival Alfred State at 7:00 p.m.  Houghton has won the last seven meetings between the two teams, including last December's dustup in Alfred, 62-48.
