The Houghton Women's Tennis team fell to 4-2 in Conference after a tough loss to Nazareth College 9-0 Friday afternoon. The Golden Flyers proved to be too much in every area of the match, sweeping the doubles and eventually the singles as well. The closest match of the afternoon came on court one as Elise Swanson was able to battle Aliya Guzman, but could not outlast her steady opponent falling 6-2, 6-3. 

"Today was a tough match against a solid opponent in Nazareth," Coach Shilvock said post match. "We will put that match behind us and battle St. John Fisher tomorrow in an important Conference match. We are excited for the challenge ahead of us!"

The Highlanders (6-5 overall) will look to finish their regular season campaign strong as they close out on the road against St. John Fisher, tomorrow at 1pm.
