PITTSFORD, NY – Sidney Tomasso and Kaitlyn Walker scored 18 points apiece, leading the #21/#25 St. John Fisher Cardinals past the visiting Houghton Highlanders, 104-36.
The Cardinals took control of the game early, outscoring the Highlanders, 30-10, in the first quarter, and opened up a 34 point advantage at the half, 51-17.
While the Cardinals shot an impressive 43 percent (36-for-84) from the floor, including an identical 43 percent (9-for-21) from beyond the arc, perhaps their most impressive performance happened on the glass. Fisher grabbed a total of 74 rebounds, including 31 on the offensive boards.
Amanda Jackson proved a bright spot for the Highlanders, scoring 20 points, her third highest tally of the season.
