Box Score Houghton, NY – The Houghton College Field Hockey team picked up a road win against Utica College on Sunday afternoon, 3-1.
 
After a scoreless first quarter, Houghton got on the board first when Leanne Plunkett connected with Lindsey Waters for her first goal of the season.
 
Utica would respond with 36 seconds left in the half as Shannon Jedreicich tied things up at one goal each.
 
In the third quarter, Caitlyn Jennings and Peyton Bentley would knock in goals to put the Highlanders ahead and ultimately take home the 3-1 victory.
