AURORA, NY—Abby Guiher scored a career-high 16 points to lead the Houghton Highlanders to their fifth win of the season over the Wells Express on Friday evening, 79-27.
The Highlanders bolted from the gate, outscoring the Express, 24-2, in the first quarter and never looking back. Over the first 10 minutes Houghton nailed five three-pointers and converted 9-of-19 shots overall.
Naomi Ouedraogo notched her first career double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, both career highs.
