Houghton, NY– The Houghton College Men's soccer celebrated senior night with a 2-0 victory over Sage Saturday afternoon. 

The fist half began swiftly for the Highlander as they gained a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute from the senior Brice Bogna. With early momentum favoring Houghton, They were able to gain 13 more more shots however none were successful, which lead to the Highlanders having a 1-0 lead at the break.

Houghton continued their dominance on the offensive end as the half as they bombarded Sage with shots, but for majority of the half they could not find the back of the net. This would last until Andy Loomis scored with two minutes left in the match, ultimately giving the Highlanders a 2-0 victory on Senior Night.

With the win, the Highlanders rise to 6-2 in Empire 8 play as they prepare for playoffs in the next coming week
