Houghton Falls to Conference-Leading Cardinals

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The Houghton Highlanders fell victim to a high-powered St. John Fisher Cardinals offensive attack, who maintained their grip on the top of the Empire 8 Conference standings with a 3-0 victory.
 
The Cardinals collected 36 kills on the night, while committing only eight attack errors, good for a .384 attack percentage.  In the final set alone, Fisher posted 14 kills and only two errors.
 
Houghton, meanwhile, flashed moments of excellence, but could not put together a consistent attack.  While the Highlanders pounded out 27 kills, they also committed 22 attack errors.

UP NEXT
Houghton travels to Keuka next Wednesday to take on the Wolves at 7:00 p.m.  The Highlanders have won the last seven matches between the two schools, including most recently on October 6, 2019 when Houghton defeated Keuka, 3-0.
