ALBANY, NY— The Sage Gators gave head coach Allison Coleman her 100
th career victory, as they defeated the Houghton Highlanders, 64-47.
Coleman became the first coach in Sage women's basketball history (1972-present) to reach the 100 win plateau.
After a close first quarter, in which a late layup by Megan Flynn gave the Gators a three point lead, Sage controlled the second ten minutes, shooting over 53 percent from the floor to open up a 12-point halftime lead.
Houghton fought back to within nine in the third on a
Caitlyn Cybart layup, but the Gators responded with an 8-2 run to close the quarter up by 15 points.
In the final quarter the Gators continued to separate, outscoring the Highlander by a basket.

Caitlyn Cybart and
Brooke Lewandowski added eight points apiece.
