ST. DAVIDS, Pa. -- Eastern University scored 13 times in the first half and coasted to a 19-6 win over Houghton in women's lacrosse action Saturday.

Marissa Hews opened the scoring for the Highlanders in the fourth minute of play, but the Eagles would respond with seven unanswered goals over the next 10 minutes. The hosts would outscore the Highlanders 6-2 over the next 16 minutes to take a 13-3 lead into the locker room and outscored Houghton 6-3 in the second half to secure the win.
