FREDONIA, N.Y. --Â The first day of the Fredonia Blue Devils Classic saw Houghton men's soccer register its second tie of the season, 2-2, against the host Fredonia Blue Devils.
Each team now has 1-0-2 records on the season.
Fredonia got on the board first with a header off a corner in the 10th minute. The quick redirect was just out of the reach of keeper
Caleb Loew and slipped under the crossbar. The Blue Devils made it 2-0 with a goal in the 44th minute, but
Ben DiCrasto gave the Highlanders life just 49 seconds later off a beautiful free kick tally.
DiCrasto scored off a pass from
Kenneth Estep in the 60th minute to even the score at 2. The teams played scoreless the rest of regulation and through 20 minutes of extra time.
