MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Houghton women's tennis fell 9-0 to undefeated Allegheny College on Monday.
The closest matches for the Highlanders were 8-2 losses in first and second doubles.
Erin Haley won three games against her opponent in the second set of second singles, while
Tessa Brown did the same in her first set in fifth singles.
"Even though we didn't get a win, I'm really proud of the way the girls played," said Head Coach
Tonya McGraner. "We had a lot of small victories today that just didn't translate to a match. But those are the things we will be holding onto to move forward into our end of season matches."
The team returns to action on Tuesday, October 8 when they host D'Youville at 6:30 p.m.
