HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Houghton Women's Lacrosse team fell to Hartwick in their first conference game of the season.
Beck was able to find the back of the net in the first minute of the game to put the Highlanders on the board. Hartwick was able to answer back and add some momentum to go up 4-1. Houghton found the net again but Hartwick went on another run to close out the half 13-4.
The Highlanders scored the first goal of the second half on a man up opportunity. Hartwick was also able to capitalize on a man up situation and netted another goal. Houghton was able to go on a short run but got outplayed in the last 15 minutes of the game losing 7-21.
