HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Houghton men's lacrosse started out scoreless in the first quarter when they traveled to Grove City. The Warriors came out strong with 7 goals in the first quarter and cruised to a 16-2 win over the Highlanders.
 
With just under 10 minutes left in the second quarter, Nathan Anderson found Lyle Warrior to put Houghton on the board. Grove City added 5 more goals in the second quarter to lead 12-1 at the end of the first half.
 
The Warriors keep their momentum going into the third quarter scoring 4 additional goals. Houghton was able to answer back late in the fourth quarter with a final goal by Daniel Williamson.
