HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Houghton women's basketball lost at home, 67-78, against the Hawks of Hartwick College on Friday night.

Emily Swanson would put the Highlanders on the board 20 seconds in; however, after a 3 point shot by the Hawks seconds later, Houghton would trail behind for the duration of the game. The Highlanders would leave the court at halftime down 25-34. Upon returning the Highlanders would rally and score 21 points in both the third and fourth quarters. They would close the gap to 3 points during the third quarter, but unable to overcome the deficit from the first half Hartwick would end up on top.
