BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- Houghton women's tennis lost a hard-fought match to Brockport State, 5-4, on the road Monday afternoon.
Houghton got wins from
Tori Noller and
Kaylee Jentsch, 8-3, in first doubles, then singles wins from Jentsch (second singles),
Amanda Carl (third singles) and
Erin Haley (fifth singles).
After losing her first set, 6-0, Noller took her first singles opponent to the limit in the second set before losing 7-6.
Tessa Brown also played tough in a 6-3, 7-5 loss in sixth singles.
