HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton women's tennis dropped a 7-2 decision to St. John Fisher on Tuesday.

Kaylee Jentsch and Amanda Carl picked up the lone Highlander wins on the afternoon.

"Today was tough for us," said Head Coach Tonya McGraner. " think we improved as the day went on. But after a slow start in doubles it was hard to catch up. I think the girls did a very good job of moving forward and focusing during their singles play though."

The Highlanders are now 1-4 overall (1-3 E8).

The Highlanders are back in action Saturday, September 22 when they travel to take on Hartwick.
