BRADFORD, PA—Ally Bittinger posted her first career triple-double, but the Houghton Highlanders fell in four closely-contested sets to the Pitt-Bradford Panthers on Tuesday night.
Houghton rebounded from a close, first-set loss to even the match at one, before falling by two points in a fierce and decisive third set. The Panthers would keep the momentum rolling into the final set to take home the victory.
Bittinger collected 14 kills—one shy of her career-high—17 assists and 10 digs on the night, while
Amber Edwards racked up 15 kills—also one shy of her career high.
