HOUGHTON, NY – Houghton women's soccer opened its 2018 season with a 2-2 tie against visiting University of Mary Washington on Friday at Burke Field.
The Eagles controlled the majority of play in the first half and got on the board first, with a goal in the 17th minute. After a change in formation, Houghton scored twice in the first seven minutes of the second half before the Eagles tied the score in the 70th minute.
